Fires within Fires: Nick Griffin, Question Time and Pretty White Girl Syndrome

Recently, Nick Griffin of the BNP appeared on the BBC's flagship political program, Question Time. Here, we are not trying to engage with his comments - which largely came across as the ramblings of an idiot - but rather with the intellectually dishonest attitude of his inquisitors.

Again and again, both the panelists and their audience implied that Britain is a non-racist country, where Griffin and his party are unwelcome. One audience member even suggested he move to the South Pole. So far, so good. However, if Griffin's racist views are so offbeat, so eccentric, so laughable, why do we still have PWGS across the Anglosphere, including Britain?

PWGS stands for Pretty White Girl Syndrome. What does this mean? Well, when a young, pretty, middle class white girl goes missing (or even just scratches her toe), the Anglo-American media are weeping into their coffee, squandering rain-forests of paper and months of prime-airtime on her case. More importantly, the Anglo-American police spend millions on detecting missing PWGs, despite their minimal economic contribution. In short, PWGS is a well-attested reality in all Anglo-Saxon nations.


However, when the confounding variables of age, gender and class are carded out of the equation, we find young, pretty, middle-class but non-white women to be almost as undervalued as their old, ugly, poor, male counterparts. Clearly, race remains a vastly important factor in how most people view crime victims, with whiteness eliciting far greater public sympathy than blackness. Newspapers print what sells: clearly, PWGS sells papers and boosts advertising revenues. This can only be because most people in the Anglosphere (including Britain) are more concerned about the welfare of white girls than black ones. Who, then, are the mass media to sit in judgment on Griffin or his party? They are just as racist themselves, as are most of the pan-Anglosphere white populations. Let’s be honest, had Madeleine McCann been non-white, non-middle class and non-female her case would never have even made the news. That is the brutal reality.


The same can be said for Louise Woodward, the English girl accused of shaking a baby boy called Matthew Eappen to death while working as an au pair in the States. Instantly, the British media cranked into action, bewailing her imprisonment and mocking the American legal system (mainly because it punishes people for wrong-doing, a not unreasonable objective). Indeed, the pudgy murderess was feted with all the fervor and solemnity of a saint. One woman was even attacked for not openly supporting Woodward's cause in Woodward's home town of Eltham, Cheshire. If she were old, male, poor or non-white of course, none of this would have happened.

In short, the fashionable liberal notion that Anglo-American societies embrace non-whites as tenderly as they embrace whites is utterly confounded by PWGS. This notional equality, so willingly fostered by the white liberal class at every occasion, is clearly a delusion. If racial discrimination were really as marginalized as most of those panelists and the Question Time audience would like to suggest, why is PWGS and its reflexive racial preference for white females so embedded in Anglo-American culture? Why can advantaged white girls expect to command endless of lines of copy, while everyone else - worthy tax payers all - can expect nothing?

It doesn't add up.

Why Middle-Class Angloguys Have no Game (and what they can do about it)

In an earlier post, I may have been a little harsh on Roissy and his fans. Apart from the videos he posts, his recommendations are generally pretty good, but only in terms of non-innate Game principals. However, the most potent Game factors are genetically determined. Americans will find this hard to accept, due to the anti-essentialist and generally democratic nature of their culture. In Britain, we have none of these qualms about advancing essentialist theses, especially involving social class differences. Michael Argyle’s peerless The Psychology of Social Class (1999) has been of inestimable value to me in framing this piece, and he maintains that many (if not most) social distinctions are genetic in origin.

How does this relate to improving Game? My guess is, only working class guys still get to breed as a function of physical ruggedness and prowess, which have been systematically bred out of middle class guys in favour of more ‘intellectual’ qualities. Sadly, these rugged qualities are what women find attractive at a visceral level, leaving the middle class Angloguy at an intrinsic disadvantage in terms of his Game.

Intrinsic factors are always devilishly hard to overcome. Nevertheless, I will contrive to suggest a solution in each case to improve the Anglo-American PUA’s deficits in that area.

Physical Limitations

No one admits it these Politically Correct days, but middle-class Angloguys have inherently puny physiques. They spend large amounts of time in the gym, but seldom look like they’ve ever lifted a weight. Much of this is genetic – middle class males have been informally selected for intelligence, not physical prowess. Consequently, they find it hard to acquire muscle mass, no matter how hard they work out. However, in Game terms this is a killer – women like nothing more than a buffed body honed with lethal erotic potential.

Solution – work harder. Do more manual work around the house or in the garden.

Excessive ‘Social Embeddedness’
The white middle class Angloguy has little appeal to women because he is too ‘socially embedded’. Angloguys have no intrinsic sense of danger or mystery because they are the dudes who keep society ‘ticking over’ in a framed, obvious way. This is why non-white/Irish/underclass males are so attractive to women – they are intrinsically outsiders. The British writer Colin Wilson has written extensively about the alienated Right Man and his visceral appeal to women: it is the eternal, potent Game of the Outsider. Perhaps this is partly sociobiological – in prehistoric culture, an obvious outsider would have had rather higher intrinsic status than indigents, as perhaps a foreign notable.

Solution – the middle class white guy cannot make himself black, or Hispanic or whatever. However, he can become a good deal less social embedded by mixing with countercultural types. Moving abroad might help. Also, strive to become a political Outsider – get involved with radical, anti-Establishment politics. In Britain, join the BNP or some other ‘revolutionary’ party (preferably of the racist right – leftism is intrinsically beta). The BNP also has a dynamic of being shot through with danger, being a virtually illegal party. There must be many equivalent organizations in America and elsewhere in the Anglosphere.

Middle-class Angloguys have Too Many Neuroses
Because white middle class guys are intellectually defined and their status derives from formal education, they are more prone to complex neuroses and psychological disorders than males who ‘think with their spine’: putting it in the simplest terms, the mindless lack neuroses – and neuroses repel females. The highly intelligent and self-aware (like nearly all of Roissy’s fans – they are clearly not demographically representative) are intrinsically loaded with neuroses, as these are a natural function of intelligence and self-alienation.

Solution – get drunk, take drugs, kill a few brain cells. And stop reading books – books kill Game.

Angloguys Cannot Look ‘Casual’

This one comes from one of my working class friends. No matter how hard they try, middle class Angloguys just cannot look ‘casual’. They never really look 'at ease' with themselves – they seem to walk around with a poker stuck up their ass or shuffle about like octogenarians. Perhaps this is genetic, perhaps it is socially determined. Whatever its origins, women don’t appreciate it. Its worst expression is the middle class walk – instead of a manly stride that hungrily devours the miles like some ancient hunter of the plains, the middle class Angloguy seems to march around like a freshly-ruptured giraffe.

Solution – hang out with blue collar guys/thugs to pick up ‘casual’ behaviours.

Angloguys are Emotionally ‘Flat’, Programmed and Dull

Again, this is an intrinsic hazard of being several generations deep into the Anglo-American middle class. All strong emotions are bred out as part of the trans-generational social mobility/embedding project, producing a somewhat ‘flat’ and uninteresting personality type. Sodini was a stellar example of this – a flat, one-dimensional and utterly grey man.

Solution – Roissy’s Alpha solutions are pretty good in this case, though probably of limited efficacy since they are striving against poor genes. Essentially, incorporating the ‘added value’ principle of sociobiology (eg the peacock’s tail) will greatly improve your Game. So shades, long leather coats - you know the drill, guys!

Angloguys Look Like Fifty-Year Olds
I don’t know why this should be so, but middle class Angloguys seem to look like fifty-year olds - even in their late teens and twenties. Their features are somehow more defined, with big, straight noses that give an impression of premature middle-agedness. Bluntly, a twenty-two year old who resembles one of the Founding Fathers has seriously abridged Game. I would guess that this premature agedness is a function of the fact that working class males only reproduce if they are virile and youthful – dynamics obviated by middle class education and thus absent from the genetically senescent Anglo-American middle class.

Solution – Cosmetic surgery? At a more practical level, wear longer hair – this will disguise your aged features.

The Anglo-Saxon Cultural Legacy
This is the biggie – as middle class Angloguys are the principal bearers of their society’s received culture, not only does Outsider status remain elusive to them but the very nature of that culture limits their Game. This is because Anglo-Saxon culture derives from a puritanical, repressive template that is intrinsically schizoid and un-sexual. Underclass males are relatively untouched by this received culture, which partly contributes to their image of animal virility. The same can be same of other Outsider males who are clearly non-Anglo – non-whites, Hispanics, Celts or Jews. Englishmen have an unlucky reputation as the world’s worst lovers – hardly a glowing Game-recommendation. Let’s face facts - Anglo-Saxon cultural affiliations are an absolute passion killer and need to be excised from your self-presentation ASAP. However, if you’re already an Outsider, put a foot-pump under it.

Solution – affect a foreign (or at least non-Anglo) cultural persona. Let’s face it - no woman wants a priggish Anglofag. I used to know an English guy who affected the mien of a liberated Dutchman – and spent most of his time fending off pussy with a club.

This is my last post on Game. However, my unique Traditional perspective has surely added something to every PUA’s conceptual toolkit. You guys are crashing my hit counter but, to be blunt, my more serious socio-political British audience is starting to get alienated by the lowbrow nature of these exchanges. Why the Anglo-Saxon Power-Elite Hates White, Working-Class Men

White working class men are hated by the Anglo-American political establishment (the natural heirs to British Victorian paternalism) because they can’t be easily bracketed and patronized. Above all, they have shown a long-standing tendency to reject elite values and culture, and this non-malleability is the true source of the elite's antipathy. Though this piece is tangential to the Anglobitch Thesis, it offers some insight into why misandry now characterises the whole Anglosphere.

He was white, Anglo-Saxon, heterosexual and fed up of being told he was shit (John King, The Football Factory: 116).

In New (read matriarchal) Britain, the raw, instinctive masculinity of white, working class men has been vilified by the new Anglo-liberal matriarchy while women’s idiotic quiescence to the meaningless hoops of a degraded State education system has been unstintingly lionized.

Why is this? The Anglo-elite promote a specific form of paternalist liberal neo-Christianity distinct from authentic radical political traditions, which has a natural alignment with Anglo feminism. Its first instinct is to assume the cultural inferiority of its ‘charges’; hence it favors malleable social elements like women or blacks, whom it perceives to be without a pre-existent culture that might deflect their attempts at paternalist manipulation. Of course, this favoritism is informed by a convoluted racism and sexism; but it clearly explains why Anglo women and blacks have been unstintingly lionized for the past 30 years or more. By contrast, the white working class has been instinctively loathed by the same limousine liberals, because it refuses to accede to this agenda. This is more intense in Britain than anywhere else, no doubt an expression of paternalist British Exceptionalism, but the same attitude finds expression across the Anglosphere (not least the United States).

This is because the British white working class has a long history of rejecting the cultural ‘gifts’ of the Anglo-British elite, above any other excluded social group. Foremost of these gifts was the Christian religion, instinctively loathed by the English working class for its milksop morality, intellectual idiocy and cringing hypocrisy. Mass rejection of Anglican Christianity remains THE key source of the long-standing antipathy between the white working class and the Anglo elite in Britain – the REAL reason why white working class race-crime victims are ignored, or why they are generally banished from the media and politics. A potent proletarian tradition of mass emigration, autonomous community schools, refusing to vote, rejecting Christian values, school truancy, robust Trades Unions and sturdy hostility to mass immigration – all represented a coherent rejection of paternalist culture that still makes the Anglo elite seethe. By contrast, blacks (not Asians, Jews or the Irish, who all retain coherent cultural traditions) and women are the darlings of the Anglo-American elite, in both Britain and America. This is partly because they are perceived as more malleable, without a culture of their own – and thus easier to coerce and manipulate.

Having failed to delude the white working class of the benefits of Christianity, the Victorian Anglo-American Missionary movement turned to Africa where its Gamma-milksop delusions could be imposed with no cultural opposition. This goes some way to explaining why the British ruling elite were so keen to end slavery (typically for Black Africans) while remaining indifferent to the appalling working conditions experienced by the white working class in unregulated early capitalism (children up chimneys, and so on - read Corelli Barnett's The Collapse of British Power). Simply put, the Black slaves were malleable targets for Anglo-American elite paternalism, while the white working class was already beginning to resist its coercion and thus persona non-grata.



This is why the Anglo-American elite have tried their damnedest in recent years to transform the proud, autonomous white working class into a Welfare dependent underclass (with no small success) – because an underclass is infinitely more malleable and easier to patronize. The same can be said of women. Reams of psychological research show women to be far more pliant to authority and public opinion than men (read Glenn Wilson's The Great Sex Divide). And women have positively waxed under the NAMWO (New Anglo Matriarchal World Order) – been shown preferential treatment in healthcare and education, lionized in the media and generally exalted on pedestals. In other words, women are easy to patronize – and thus benefit from a plethora of preferential treatments.

In short, everywhere we look the Anglo-American elite has recently done everything it has to promote groups it perceives to be malleable - and denigrate, erase or ostracize those with autonomous cultural traditions. In a complex, convoluted way, this is a kind of racism/sexism that assumes blacks/women to be intellectually and culturally inferior. Since black America recently found its own voice and identity distinct from liberal expectations, one would expect the long-standing love affair between blacks and 'Limousine Liberals' to wither. After all, the same process occurred in Britain during the Victorian era, when the white working class eschewed the drivel proclaimed from Anglican pulpits, for which the Anglo elites have never forgiven them.

From this perspective, the BNP (British National Party) is the product of a long-standing conflict between the autonomous English working class and the outraged Anglo elite – and the same essential conflict is reflected throughout the Anglosphere. The real hatred of the BNP from the British Establishment hails not from its policies – many Conservatives are just as racist – but because it represents an autonomous working class (and largely male) organization outside paternalist control – not unlike football hooliganism:

With football you make a choice. It’s no easy option. You don’t want to bottle out in front of your mates, and the more your reputation develops the more pressure there is to perform. Still, it’s freedom of choice because I’m doing it for myself, not because the wankers in power tell me. That’s what they don’t like (King: 105).

The charge of 'racism' serves as a useful smokescreen for simple antipathy towards autonomy of thought, deed and association by the disenfranchised – an unforgivable sin to Anglo-American paternalists.

The BNP, Protest Voting and the Rise of the Anglobitch

The BNP (British National Party) is a unique aberration in the history of the Anglosphere. Never has a far right wing, neo-Fascist political party achieved so much electoral success in an Anglophone country: as well as having a presence in local Government, they also have not one but TWO MEPS (Members of the European Parliament). Readers outside the UK may not have heard of them, but it is impossible to doubt that their recent successes represent a watershed in Anglosphere politics.

Much learned ink has been spilt on the BNP phenomenon, but one key factor has been overlooked: Anglo-American feminism and its impact on young, disenfranchised males. In an online article, referring to research by the Joseph Rowntree Foundation, Arun Kundnani examines who really votes for the BNP:

New research into how people voted in local government by-elections in autmumn 2003 shatters some of the myths about who votes for the BNP. The study indicates that BNP voters are not, as often supposed, disgruntled, elderly people who are uncertain about a changing world. And, the rise of the BNP cannot be attributed to traditional Labour (Democrat) supporters, having grown frustrated with the current direction of their party. The evidence also suggests that those who vote for the BNP are not just being tactical but really do support the party's views. And the theory of BNP success resting on low turnouts does not hold water.

Young support

The most startling revelation of the report, entitled 539 voters' views: a voting behaviour study in three northern towns, is that, in the areas studied, the younger one is the more likely one is to vote BNP. Around one in three of 18-25 year-olds said that they voted for the BNP. 46 per cent said they had voted for the BNP on a previous occasion. While the Labour Party had strong support among older age groups, hardly anyone in the 18-25 category voted Labour (Democrat). In this age group, large numbers of young men have been attracted to the BNP's message - making it the only party whose support is predominantly male.


So the BNP really appeals to a very distinct, and quite unexpected group: young, disenfranchised white males who do not usually vote or take part in politics. Interestingly, this group of males is also the group that has lost most by Anglo-American feminism. The skewing of education in favour of females, for example, has quashed opportunities for young men to improve themselves; and the endless vilification of males in the media has damaged young males' self-esteem. Young, poor white males are now the lowest-achieving group in British schools - and this failure is echoed all around the Anglosphere.

Could the rise of the BNP be directly linked to misandrist agendas emanating directly from Anglobitch feminism? Could it be a visceral response to decades of misandrist vilification from the Anglo-Saxon cultural Establishment as it brutally promotes the Anglobitch and her endless 'rights'? Really, these questions answer themselves. After all, one decisive plank of the BNP's political programme is to remove all women from the workplace, thereby expanding male employment opportunities. And the party's far-ranging racist, anti-immigrant agendas serve to minimize sexual competition for young white males from dark-skinned immigrants lionized by the liberal media.

In fact, what we are witnessing is a hegemonic breakdown, in Antonio Gramsci's terminology. That is, the ideological cement that binds the consent of the masses to the existing social order is crumbling, creating new opportunities for ideological reconstruction. At a more pragmatic level, young white males simply have no reason to support the existing hegemony. The Anglo-American matriarchy simply offers them nothing, making rejection of its misandrist edifice a revolutionary act.

In short, the BNP presents a perfectly packaged range of measures to correct young white males' many gender-based grievances. Is it any wonder they are flourishing?
